Return to Feb 17 - Mar 2 French Polynesian Excursion

We were in cabin 8043, an AA minisuite on the starboard side. The starboard side was a good choice. On most stops and in circling the islands, the starboard side gave the best views. The one exception was Bora Bora. The Port side there was the most scenic, although the starboard side did give a nice view of the lagoon. Most cruises in our winter season (their summer) which schedule Rarotonga can not allow passengers to go ashore due to high seas. The ship does circle the island keeping the island on the starboard side.

We purchased this flower arrangement in the
Papeete Flower market for USD $20.
It lasted the entire cruise
