When you print in BLACK AND WHITE mode, the cost to the school is 1 cent per copy.

When you print in COLOR mode, the cost to the school is 11 cents per copy…. EVEN IF THERE IS NO COLORS BESIDES BLACK AND WHITE!!!!!!!!!

A sheet filled with color costs the same as a sheet with little or no color when COLOR is selcted: 11 cents per copy.

DEFAULT PRINTER and COST OF PRINTING

Printing in COLOR costs the school more than printing in black and white ... even if your page is in nothing but black and white. ... so please make sure your properties setting is in black and white unless you wish to print in color! The cost for black and white printing is MUCH less expensive for the school.   When printing in color, it costs the school the same amount to print a huge color photo as it does to print one little red line on a sheet or to print in black and white with the color settings on. Please be wise in the use of this printer and be diligent in monitoring your properties settings.

It costs the same to print to the high school copy machine as it does to the Canon iR C3200-C1 printer. Right now the default printer is still the high school copy machine, but after we know that everyone can handle this new printer and the new printer can handle you, we may change the default settings for some computers.

To print in black and white costs around 1 cent per copy.

To print in color costs around 11 cents per copy.

We are billed per click, not on the amount of color used, so use the copy machine wisely. PLEASE be diligent in knowing your property settings!

Thanks for your cooperation in learning this new system.
